Terms & refunds

Last updated 17 September 2026. Plain-English terms for using and buying Foundry products.

Who you are dealing with

Foundry is operated by a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. Figma plugins are sold under Figma's Community Paid Resource License through Figma's checkout. Other products are sold by our merchant of record, who is the seller of record on your invoice and handles VAT.

Licence

• A purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the product on the devices or accounts you personally use. Team licences, where offered, state their seat count.
• One-time purchases include updates to that product for at least 12 months and continued use afterwards. Subscriptions include updates while active.
• Free tiers are free forever and may change in scope; paid features are never removed from a version you have paid for.
• You may not resell, share licence keys, or use a product to break another service's terms.

Refund policy

• 14-day guarantee: if a product does not do what its listing says, email us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund — no questions beyond "what went wrong".
• One refund per customer. A refunded licence key is revoked; a second purchase by the same person is final. A key activated an implausible number of times is treated as shared and revoked.
• Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time and stop at the end of the paid period; we refund the current period if you cancel within 14 days of first payment.
• Figma plugin refunds are requested through Figma; merchant-of-record refunds through the link on your receipt or by emailing us. Refunds go back to the original payment method.
• UK and EU consumers keep every right the Consumer Contracts Regulations and the Consumer Rights Act give them; nothing here reduces those.

Availability and liability

Products are provided as described on their listing. We fix reported bugs promptly, but we are not liable for indirect losses; our total liability for a product is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
